then by the time sherlock was graduating i think mycroft would have worked himself very far up in the ministry but BEING THE MINISTRY OF MAGIC is what mycroft will be doing by the time sherlock is brilliantly helping the aurors solve all their problems and living as a weird hermit with his husband john

john’s profession is hard to figure out, i mean he’s not quite an auror right but he’s not quite a healer either; he’s a healer that somehow got involved with fighting evil wizards - like he would have been in the order of the phoenix if this happened during the books, and he got seriously injured or fucked up in that fight
